SNOOK FISHING the Bait Run



So the Mullet Run fall migration is late this year. Nothing new, happens every few years. That doesn't mean you still cant get out there. For one thing there is good bait around. Granted it might not be the football field sized schools that you can see from a mile away but there is still good bait around. Most discouraged by the lack of the huge bait pods is of course, The Happy Baiter. This guy thinks everything revolves around an imaginary calendar that he has in his mind of when he can expect to go fishing. Nothing could  be further from reality. Snook fishing is about so much more than just huge pods of bait where you can throw a cast net and get a few dozen. Ask yourself this, Can You Get A Dozen Today?

The mullet run is gonna be here soon, and you gotta keep your gear tight if you expect to have success over the length of the season. We will be traveling and following the mullet pods down the coast so we will have (3) working nets, the nets needs some attention and now is the time to do those repairs and tweaks so you dont end baitless when the pods are in your area.
