Fishing has been hot and cold and even when its been hot its been really tough conditions so dont get too discouraged if you haven't got that Lunker yet. The bait has been really tough, we are all hoping the northern front push some of the decent baits down south. Ok, well Labor Day completely ruins any fishing you thought you were gonna do from the beach because of the crowds. Weather got really Nasty looking to the north so we weren't about to take the boat out, again factor in Labor Day. At least the bait was out a few hundred yards in the deeper water. There is no way you could get out far enough to throw a castnet, and even if you did you would probably get attacked by sharks before you made it back to shore.
