Bait Update Fort Pierce Inlet Mullet Video

Fort Pierce Inlet - Solid video report from Chucks World of Fishing shows serious pod action at the Fort Pierce inlet. This thing aint over folks, another cold blast and these mullet will be making their way down south. So dont put away those 5 gallon buckets. And yes you do need more than one bucket. One to hold your bait and other to transport your water. Happy Bait.

Bait Update 09_25

Bait was NOT easy to get; however, we managed to get a half dozen in the 30 gallon bucket. Fishing conditions fromthe beach are awful and even worse by boat. Looks like a weekend to watch some decent football and hope we can get in an afternoon session after all the weekend warriors go home and the lifeguards leave.

Mullet Run Video Report 10 24 2010

INSHORE - Mullet are pretty slim in the canals and estuaries, but if you really work at it you can find some choice baits. We eventually scrambled up enough baits to fish the afternoon session off the beach in the skiff, but we didn't even see a single fish. Weird because we saw Tarpon from the beach all week long. Blame it on the full moon and the incoming tide, yeah that was it. Follow The Mullet Run on Twitter Subscribe to The Official Mullet Run Youtube Channel

BAIT UPDATE 12 15 09

We went down to fish Miami Beach's Government Cut, but first we had to catch bait in Broward. Hey, thats how it works. It was really easy and took no longer than 10 minutes to get a dozen decent mullet by truck. Yeah, if you are serious about fishing and bait, you might want to get a battery powered bubbler and a 35 gallon well in the back of your truck. The bait held like champs for the 45+ minute drive down to South Beach. And bringing bait sure paid off, we fished the sunset and jumped several medium sized Tarpon and got a good hook into a 75lber. Dont hate the angler, hate the bait.

Happy Bait Update - Rumors of Finger Mullet

C Timothy O'Connor September 10 at 7:22am Jeff: I've heard reports of fairly large schools of fingers up around Ft. Pierce. Not sure if it's the front end or the tail end of the fingers up there. I fished the ICW Monday and so no sign of fingers yet. They're way overdue. Tim

The point here is to have your gear ready so you can get bait and whack some trophy fish. Tarpon, Snook, Jacks, and Sharks.
