This would indicate an early start to pre-pod this year and that means one thing, you better get your cast nets ready. They call Pre-pod and the Mullet Migration - Happy Bait, and thats because this is the season that almost anybody can get live bait. Be it, white bait, pilchard or mullet, and one of the best ways to maximize your Happy Bait experience is to throw a Cast Net. Beach fishing improved at the end of the week. Pilchard were thick for miles, and you didn't need a cast net to get em. Just a simple Sabiki Rig. Ok, so bait is easy to get, but the Snooks were still being stubborn. Its the old rule, if you can see the snooks, they can see you. So you can try stuff like wearing blue shirts and try to keep your shadow off of the fish. Drew was able to have some limited success. Let us know how you are doing out there.
